The Consolidated Society of Chinese University Alumni Associations(CSCUAA)
is registered as a non-profit organization in the State of Maryland.
The purposes of this organization are to promote unity and improve
communications among the member university alumni associations; support
activities of its member organizations, and provide services to the community
and its members.

The mission of the Consolidated Society of the Chinese University Alumni
Associations (CSCUAA) is to coordinate and assist the recreational and
scholarly activities of Chinese Alumni Associations, and to promote the
communications between Chinese university alumnus and alumna in the
Greater Washington Area, and promote understanding, cooperation,
development and peace between US and China through exchanges in
trade, business, technology, culture and education as well.

Key functions of the CSCUAA are to serve as a bridge of communication
among our university alumnus and alumna in the Greater Washington Area,
and between the cultures and systems of US and China.

Found in 1993 with seven university alumni associations then,
the CSCUAA has grown to be one of the largest organizations
in the metropolitanWashington Chinese-American community.
It currently consists of 50 Chinese university alumni associations
and clubs. The majority of its members are professionals from all
walks of life. The CSCUAA has been playing an important role in many
areas such as providing services to our community, bridging alumni
communications gaps, assisting alumni in business investment,
community services, and personnel, science and technology exchanges
between the United States and China and integrating its members
into the main stream society.

The CSCUAA will continue to play an active role to advance the
interests of its members, to serve the community, to contribute
to the exchanges in culture, education, science and technology
between the United States of America and the People’s Republic of
China, and contribute to the prosperity of the two countries.
